Hail storm in Hartberg – Styria

Saturday night, there was the first supper of a stormy weekend in the district of Hartberg in Styria. At 18:30, a strong hail.

The roads and meadows were completely white because of the many hailstones. Heavy rain and hail on the A2 Südautobahn caused poor visibility and traffic delays.

However, the strong storms soon subsided. In the night of Sunday, it remains dry throughout Austria. Even Sunday itself will be dry in the morning, before there are heavy showers and thunderstorms during the day.

Sunday is often inconsistent. After a rather sunny start, the cumulus clouds begin to emerge in the morning from Bergland. Subsequently, in many places, there are partly heavy showers and thunderstorms, usually dry and with lots of sunshine, in the eastern plains and in the Rhine valley all day long. In the east, moderate northwesterly winds blow and temperatures reach 22 to 29 degrees.

On Monday from Vorarlberg to Carinthia are already in the morning some clouds on the way. and west of Innsbruck, it rains a bit out of the night. But also on the rest of the uplands, swollen clouds and, subsequently, showers and thunderstorms, which later move to the lowlands. Mainly sunny and dry, the day only takes place in the lowlands of the East. 21 to 31 degrees are reached in a moderately moderate north wind.

Tuesday begins on the northern side of the Alps with many clouds and in the morning it rains. Rain showers and thunderstorms, which develop during the day, are usually confined to the mountains. A few hours of sun meet from Unterkärnten via Burgenland to Weinviertel. The wind blows moderately to the bright west to northwest and temperatures increase from west to east up to 20 to 30 degrees.
