Mittersill: Laufhaus was on fire – the candle triggered the fire

Am The On July 15, 2018, at approximately 4.50 pm, drivers of uninvolved vehicles noticed a fire in the brothel operation in Mittersill that adjoins Felbertauernstraße. From an apartment, the balcony and attic had burned. The Volunteer Fire Department, immediately alerted, Mittersill, has tripped because of the already advanced fire hazard "Level 3 Alert". A firefighter with 120 firefighters from the Mittersill fire brigade and neighboring firefighters from Hollersbach, Stuhlfelden and the Zell am See respiratory protection base managed to prevent a total erosion of the operation with the flats. The administrative team of Zell am See District officially blocked the operation because of the immediate danger to life and limbs of any user, due to damage to the building's static and gas deposits of combustion. During the fight against fires, there were mbadive traffic obstacles.

UPDATE – LPD Salzburg:

Agents of the Salzburg Criminal Investigation Office conducted a fire investigation on 16 and 17 July 2018 with an expert from the Fire Prevention Tribunal of Salzburg Salzburg to Mittersill. It was possible to rule out technical disability. With an almost certain probability, the fire was caused by a burning candle, which caused the ignition of flammable materials. There is no indication of intentional fire so far. The exact amount of damage is not yet known.
