Sexual crime arouses Friborg – southwest

FREIBURG. The badual crime committed against a young woman in Freiburg, which was revealed the previous week, mobilized protest trains in the city center on Monday night. Interior Minister Thomas Strobl (CDU) has announced his intention to review the security situation in Freiburg.

Matern von Marschall, member of the CDU Parliament in Friborg, said that politics and the rule of law should provide adequate answers on how such crimes could be prevented in the future. "One thing is already clear: whoever commits such crimes foregoes all asylum and must leave our country," Marschall asked.

All persons arrested in this case have the status of legal resident in Germany. According to the Home Office, Syrian citizens generally enjoy a protection status under the Geneva Refugee Convention or subsidiary protection. In principle, Syria is not deported.
