Vienna – Councilwoman Birgit Hebein is the new president of the Greens of Vienna. The council member triumphed in the internal election of the best candidates of the political party against four other competitors, after Maria Vbadilakou as vice mayor and Verkehrsstadratin. It is unclear when the transfer will take place: Vbadilakou announced that she would resign from her position by mid-2019 at the latest. However, an earlier date is possible for Vbadilakou.
