The parliamentary inquiry commission on the case surrounding the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the Fight against Terrorism (BVT) reached its peak: Tuesday morning, the minister of the Interior, Herbert Kickl (FPÖ), has been questioned for 14 hours. The opposition considers Kickl as responsible for the controversial and partly illegal raid in the BVT. The resignations were also strong. Kickl himself had not commented on his accusations in advance, but in extraordinary sessions of Parliament he justified his work and suggested that the opposition act as "conspiracy theorist". ".
"Did not send Goldgruber to the WKStA"

However, the opposition tried to show that Kickl had not responded well to parliamentary questions – he said he was not responsible for answering: his aides would take care of the issue.
Kickl also did not want his secretary general, Peter Goldgruber, to be appointed by unnumbered general secretary Peter Goldgruber to the Office of the Prosecutor for Economic Affairs and Corruption (WKStA): "I did not want not sent Peter Goldgruber to the WKStA.
