SV Horn separates from coach Jancker

The second-division American football Horn announced Tuesday the separation of coach Carsten Jancker. The Lower Austrians finished the fall season with just ten points from 15 games in the last place. Jancker had Horn in the summer of 2017 and won a few months later the title of champion in the second division of Regionalliga Ost. A successor of the former Rapid Assistenzcoach is not yet known.

"We have seen in many games that we were not necessarily much worse than the league's competition, but there was growing uncertainty," said Rudolf Laudon, a member of the board of directors. Horn, according to the announcement. They wanted to leave nothing to chance to avoid the threat of descent. The club will therefore actively seek a successor to German in the coming days.
