Police student was on patrol without a license
GRAZ. A police student in Graz even took the wheel of a patrol car without a driver's license.

The young man flew after driving training last fall. The employment relationship has ended, confirmed Wednesday the press service to the newspaper "Kleine Zeitung". An additional control mechanism should exclude such individual cases in the future.
Since December 2016, the future officer-in-training was a police officer and had also performed some practical tasks, where he himself drove a police car. A few weeks ago, an experienced trainer at a training session noticed that the man was driving very badly. When it was addressed to the student, he confessed to not having a driver's license. However, this is a prerequisite at the beginning of the police academy.
The press office pointed out that it was an isolated case and that no one was in danger. As a result, a "registration group" has now been set up, which checks again if all or none of the candidates have met all the requirements.
In 2015 already, a similar case had occurred in Graz: at that time, a police officer was on patrol for months without a driver's license.
