The automation expert grows up: Keba takes over the German record manufacturer

Keba AG, an automation specialist, employs a further 500 people: the Linz-based company acquires the German companies LTI Motion and Heinz Fiege GmbH, the leading technology provider of drive solutions and pin technologies. A corresponding contract between Keba AG and the seller, Körber AG, was signed on 15 November.

"Long-time strategic dream"

Ten years ago, there were discussions about a takeover. Expanding Keba's portfolio into training technology "has long been a strategic dream and we achieved it with this acquisition," said Gerald Luftensteiner, CEO of Keba. Keba thus becomes a provider of complete solutions in the field of industrial automation. With the new brand "Keba + LTI", the customer will be expanded again.
