A three-month-old boy died at the hospital: the arrested father

Neunkirchen – A three month old boy died on November 14th at the Wiener Neustadt Regional Hospital. The toddler was in the apartment of his 19-year-old father in the district of Neunkirchen at the end of October. He was resuscitated and then taken to the clinic. According to a forensic expert, the police reportedly reported debts to third parties. The 19-year-old was arrested on Wednesday.

According to the police, the toddler would have spent the night of October 30 at his father's house. After emergency medical care, the child was taken to the hospital, where treating physicians expressed suspicion of external influences in the form of a possible trauma related tremors, announced the Landespolizeidirektion Niederösterreich in a press release.

After the death of the child, who had received intensive medical care at the hospital, an autopsy was ordered. After the designated forensic pathologist spoke of third party debts, the Wiener Neustadt public prosecutor's office ordered the father's arrest.
