Villach – Carinthian jazz musician Uli Scherer is dead. As announced Wednesday the city of Villach in a TV show, the pianist and composer was 65 years old. Scherer studied piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts (mdw) in Vienna, then co-founded the Vienna Art Orchestra, of which he was a member until 1997.
