Despite the freezing temperatures, many people showed in today 's demonstration what they thought of the federal government and its program.

It was still Thursday. And in keeping with the tradition of demonstrations against the first black and blue government 18 years ago, thousands of Austrians have again descended the streets of Vienna, Innsbruck and Graz. During the process, the protesters from Graz also braved the temperatures around the freezing point in order to express their rejection of the current government and its program.

Pbading through various Christmas markets, he pbaded from Lendplatz to Mariahilferstraße, via Lendkai, then to Neutorgbade and finally to Griesplatz. Mulled wine and Ferris wheel on one side, banners and demonstration train on the other.

What is striking is that many people spontaneously decided to accompany the demo and join the crowd. Police initially spoke of just under 1,000 participants in the demonstration, but it is more likely around 2,000 people have been. For Grazer's reports, a really decent number. And it probably would not have been the last demonstration in the state capital of Styria against the current federal government.
