Ignored priority: serious accident on the "Bauernautobahn"

A 87-year-old driver from Vöcklabruck District may have missed the car of a 25-year-old resident of Gmunden District, who would have been a priority at around 18.15 from Sickinger-Gemeindestraße on Desselbrunner-Landesstraße – he came to a collision.
The impact was so severe that the retiree was stuck in his car. Only volunteer firefighters Desselbrunn, Rüstorf and Windern could release him.

Infamous road section
Both drivers were injured in the accident. They were taken to the Vöcklabruck public hospital for help, the police said Thursday night. The vehicles were totally damaged. The pbadage area was closed to traffic for approximately 45 minutes.

Incidentally, the notorious section of the road, where it has often been the cause of very serious accidents, is also called "agricultural highway".
