High insurance claims after fires in California

After a series of devastating forest fires in the state of California, the number of insurance claims has reached more than 9 billion dollars (7.9 billion euros). Three wildfires in northern and southern California destroyed nearly 20,000 buildings in November. The most affected place was Paradise, north of the state of the west coast.
