Investigations into mbad killings on Saturday night in a shisha bar in Regau (Vcklabruck district) are still ongoing. The case is still uncertain because the statements of the nine arrested people contradict each other partially. A 29-year-old Macedonian died, six men were injured. According to Christian Hubmer, spokesman for Attorney Wels, several knives were at stake. Two suspects are in detention.
We know so much about things: Friday at 23:30, two groups clashed in the bar. According to the local owner, it could result from a family feud. The opponents, each with about five people, sat separately at the tables: "Suddenly there was a fight and soon after, we are lying on the ground," he says. "We have tried everything to appease the situation and save the man."
The intervention forces, who rushed for the large-scale operation, painted a picture of the horror: "Broken glbad and broken bottles are everywhere," says Gerald Schuster, commander of the Vcklabruck District Rescue Operations. The 29-year-old, seriously injured, was taken to the Salzkammergut-Klinikum Vcklabruck, where he died in the shock room. Two other men were seriously injured. As a result, the police arrested nine men, all of whom came from immigration. According to Hubmer, they were questioned several times during the weekend: "There are contradictory representations and reciprocal expectations".
It is also unknown how many people were involved in the mbad murder: "Whatever, the nine arrested," said the prosecutor. The body of the 29 year old girl is autopsied at the beginning of the week. He may have died from a knife wound.
Regau as focal point?
Already last October, there was an incident in a disco in Regau, in which a porter raped a guest in front of police. Due to such incidents, Regau has become a focal point, says Hermann Krenn, Member of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Stv. District Police Commander: "It's time to discuss security concepts."
Mayor Peter Harringer (VP) sees things differently. "The incident is tragic," he says. But in the restaurant, there were no incidents: "A beating can happen anywhere, which can not be prevented." The hands are tied to the church. "
