A woman has admitted thieves: arrest after a bank robbery in Wildschönau

Wildschönau – "All the money, all the money!" With these words, a thief was launched Monday at 4:50 pm in the Raika Oberau, perhaps the fastest bank robbery in the criminal history of the Tyrol. "After 20 seconds, everything was over," said Walter Pupp, head of the state's criminal police bureau. Because the unarmed author was apparently aware of the mbad of money that kept the bank employees cleared behind the counter.

The man immediately ran to the counter, grabbed the money – a five-figure amount – and wanted to fend for himself. Two bank employees tried to arrest the culprit. There was a fight in the lobby of the bank branch. The thief, however, managed to break free.

The motorcycle was already waiting in front of the bank, which the man had parked there as a precaution. In Oberau, an ideal escape vehicle – "from there, it always goes down to Kundl downhill, there are also several escape routes," says Pupp. In any case, the police investigation was initially unsuccessful.

A woman has recognized offenders on television

Later, the radiation of the surveillance camera footage led to this in the evening news: a woman from Kufstein District acknowledged the author and contacted the police. The 31-year-old Hungarian was then investigated and provisionally arrested at 11 pm in Kufstein town center.

The man had a considerable amount of money, according to the police, which could be allocated to theft. After the interrogation, the 31-year-old was arrested and taken to the prison. (TT.com, tom)
