The company, headquartered in Dornbirn, had to file for bankruptcy in May for four of its seven companies. The liabilities amounted to approximately eleven million euros. As stated, the two companies then began cooperation. An acquisition was already mentioned as a possible option at that time. Details have not been provided.
More presence in Switzerland
The existing Zech companies are now part of the "Zech window GmbH" and are headquartered in Götzis. This was reinstated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Actual. The management takes Herwig Ganzberger. He is also Managing Partner of Actual. Zech is responsible for managing orders in Vorarlberg. In Switzerland, a subsidiary of Zech must be created. However, as in the insolvency proceedings, production will continue in Austria. 50 Zech employees are taken over. The company has recently achieved a turnover exceeding 50 million euros and employs 360 people.
