Ainet: Felsbrockens on the Felbertauern Bundesstraße

Print this article [19659008] On 21.07.2018 at 16:40 arrived above Felbertauern Bundesstraße in the municipality of Ainet, a loose rock of 80 x 60 cm (about 25 cm thick) that slipped and "thundered" on a steep slope towards the main road. The stone struck the north shore adjacent to B 108 and was thrown by force onto the road where the rock came to rest. The incident neither injured nor damaged the vehicles in intense traffic. According to the experts involved, no further loss of material should be feared.
