Braunau: a motorist attacked cyclists and escaped
After a traffic accident in Braunau, police search for a motorist who left a wounded cyclist.

The accident occurred Wednesday at 4:30 pm on the Haiden in the city of Braunau. A 52-year-old Syrian cycled from the industrial line to the sports field. He struck a car coming in the opposite direction a little before the underpbad of the railway.
The cyclist fell and lay in the adjacent field. Without stopping, the driver continued his journey. The 52-year-old man had to be treated by the emergency doctor and then taken to the Braunau hospital. The police are now asking for relevant information about the driver who avoids driving to the Braunau am Inn Police Station at 059133-4200.
