The pensioner from Ried im Innkreis district was about 12:40 by car on the Harter country road towards Andorf. For a cause still unexplained, the woman's car came from the road to Eggerding's entrance and collided with the sidewalk of the pavement divider. The 63-year-old drove the car back onto the track, sidling to the right of the road and bouncing back about 50 meters against a concrete retaining wall. Rescue volunteers and firefighters, informed by locals, took the seriously injured out of the car completely damaged, but help arrived too late and she died at the scene of the accident.
