On Friday, British investigators in Amesbury found a container with Nowitschok through which a couple could have come in contact with the neurotoxin. Now the police believe that it is possible that other objects from the house of one of the two victims may be contaminated by the small bottle.
In total, the British authorities collected approximately 400 exhibits. A significant number of them could be contaminated by Nowitschok, they would now be screened for poison, police said. Initially, it was difficult to know how the bottle fell into the hands of the British couple.

Last week, a 45-year-old man and his partner were hospitalized with poisoning in Nowitschok. The 44-year-old died as a result. His partner is accessible again and could be questioned by the police.
