Dispute between taxis and passers-by in Klagenfurt: seven wounded

Klagenfurt (APA) – A clash in downtown Klagenfurt between taxis and pbaders-by is uncheckable Sunday morning: one of the taxi drivers pulled out his pepper spray from the car. Seven people were injured. But whoever used it is not very clear. The police has so far eleven known participants, but other investigations are ongoing, the statement said.

Two taxi drivers from Klagenfurt clashed around 4 am in front of a restaurant with several Carinthians for unknown reasons. Supposedly, one of the taxis reportedly pushed a 22-year-old woman. Pbaders-by confronted the 57-year-old, there were insults and participants walked several times against the taxi. When the driver was threatened by the situation, he pulled out his pepper spray from the car.

According to witnesses, the taxi driver would have watered him. He himself, however, declared that the spray had been removed and that others had used it. The seven wounded were taken care of. A 28-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were taken to the ophthalmic clinic. The officials also found a telescopic baton and another pepper spray in the taxi driver's car. The investigators also discovered a pepper spray at the second taxi driver involved.
