On 23.10.2018 at 16:00, a clock was produced on the Rheintalautobahn (A14) StrKm 14.3 (North Dornbirn knot) on the construction site. A work accident has occurred. Here, a 33-year-old man from Göfis was busy with a small excavator under leveling bridges. When the man approached too close to the edge of the slope, the shovel rocked into the bed of the Dornbirner Ache River. The excavator operator was trapped under the excavator. However, he could be released by another worker who observed the accident, by physical force.
The man suffered unspecified wounds and was taken to Dornbirn Hospital after emergency care at the scene of the accident by the ambulance.
