The windshield ripped cars
The truck train that was probably in Greifenburg was driving at a very high speed when 39, he came out of the bend. The windshield of the 19-year-old driver's car was torn in the collision. As a result, the car crashed on the embankment and returned repeatedly.
When questioned by the police, the driver of the trucker confirmed after some hesitation that he had alerted his colleagues of the speed too high – after all then it was already too late.
A woman suffered deep cuts
When police and the emergency medical team arrived, the trailer was long gone. Although Lienz's 19-year-old wife was approachable, according to first responders, she would have suffered deep cuts on her shoulders and head. While policemen were arresting the Romanian driver in Steinfeld, the young woman was taken to the Lienz District Hospital with the rescue.
The man had to pay 750 euros on the spot because of the driver's escape. He was also reported to the prosecutor.
