At 6:40 am, a patrol wanted to stop a two-pbadenger car in Kärntnerstraße to carry out routine vehicle and management checks. The driver ignored the stops, accelerated the car and ran into the city. She exceeded the maximum speed "blatantly", as reported police, ignoring several red lights. The driver fled towards Schillerpark, back to the Volksgarten and back to the Schillerpark – the patrol car chasing in the rearview mirror.
Because of an oncoming vehicle, the patrol had to temporarily stop the pursuit. But in the meantime, colleagues had participated in the research. On Schillerplatz, a patrol car left the city and the wanted car went to town. A collision has occurred. According to the police report, the driver of the fleeing car hit hard the radio car already standing, "in order to avoid a stop".
An official took the persecution on foot and finally, the 23-year-old was arrested. His reason for the robbery was that he was "afraid of the police". A test conducted at Linz Alkotest resulted in a value of 0.64 per thousand, according to the police, a rapid test for drug testing was positive. A medical examination revealed an inability to drive, the driver's license is the current type at the moment. But that's not enough: in the car, the police found a small amount of marijuana. In addition, he must answer not only for his dangerous driving style and the damage caused by the sheets. Two police officers were injured in a traffic accident and a police officer during his arrest.
By the way, the co-pilot, also a Linzer, was allowed to go home. The man was in the car, but did not commit a criminal offense unlike his driver.
