He was looking forward to the street party this Saturday in Enzenkirchen (district of Schärding). The benches and the fridge were already ready. But fate would like it to be otherwise: Tuesday afternoon, 35-year-old Christoph Z. fell into a work accident on a construction site in Rainbach im Innkreis, OÖN reported. "The grief and shock in the village are great," says Enzenkirchen Mayor Franz Hochegger.

Christoph Z. is from Kopfing. He was married five years ago and built a house with his wife in the suburb of Enzenkirchen. The two children of the couple are four and two years old.

His pleasing nature has made Z. popular everywhere. As a truck driver from a construction company in Raab, he traveled a lot, "at home, he was often seen in the garden, where he made himself the garden wall," says Hochegger. Before moving to his home, Z. had lived with his wife on his stepfather's farm in nearby Matzing. "He was my neighbor, I liked him a lot," says Daniel Frank, Matzing fire brigade commander: "We wanted to win him for our defense, all his specials are there. But Z. is distant: "He diligently devoted himself to work and building houses, because he had no time for others."

"Whistling, sparks, smoke"

Tuesday, Christoph Z. Concrete conveyor transported to a construction site in Rainbach. Then he washed the conveyor belt, which touched the 30 kV supply line when bending. The man standing at the back of the truck was hit by an electric shock.

"The three workers and the customer's family noticed a hissing, sparking and smoke and immediately triggered the alarm," says Franz Eder Energie AG could reach the scene of the accident after being secured by Energie AG.

Christoph Z. was flown to Pbadau hospital where he died shortly after
