Eva Glawischnig joins Novomatic – News

[ad_1]

The former boss of the Greens, Eva Glawischnig, announced last March her move to the gaming company Novomatic. She has taken on the leadership of the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainable Development Department.

She is now expanding her area of responsibility: since June 30, she is a member of the supervisory board of Novomatic's German subsidiary, Löwen Entertainment, confirmed the company at the request of the APA. Löwen Entertainment achieves a turnover of 579 million euros with over 450 gaming rooms in Germany and nearly 3,800 employees.

Novomatic took over Lion Entertainment in 2003. Harald Neumann, CEO of Novomatic, is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and, in the past, former Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer was a prominent former Austrian politician of the Supervisory Board of Löwen for Novomatic.

Criticism of commitment

The membership of Glawischnig in the gaming company had attracted much criticism in March, especially from his former party. As the boss of the Greens, she had already fought the company. At that time, she described herself as a "responsibility leader" and wanted to deal with environmental and legal issues as well as "responsible gaming" for Novomatic.
