Facebook faces a multitude of regulatory investigations and investigation because of the scandal surrounding the mbadive abuse of user information by the company's data badysis Cambridge Analytica. A spokesman for the American Internet company today told AFP that its company is cooperating with the authorities of the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries as part of these surveys.
Several authorities are closely examining the data abuse scandal. According to the newspaper, these are the Department of Justice, the Federal Police FBI, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the FTC Consumer Protection Agency.
Facebook has been in crisis for months due to the scandal. Data from about 87 million users of the online network had landed at Cambridge Analytica and should have been used without permission for the US President Donald Trump's election campaign.
