Vienna (OTS) – "Fidelio" (www.myfidelio.at) offers clbadical music lovers a special opera experience this week and will broadcast the live stream of the Vienna Opera on Giacomo Puccini's "La Bohème" on Thursday November 29, 2018 at 7:30 pm in a staged by Franco Zeffirelli, directed by the excellent Italian father Speranza Scappucci. Puccini's fourth opus out of a total of twelve operas is considered his masterpiece and takes place in Paris around 1830. The poet Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard and the somewhat grumpy philosopher Hill n & # Have no money, but a great thirst for life. You live in a poor loft. On Christmas Eve, Rodolfo stays home alone when suddenly his beautiful neighbor Mimì knocks on the door. Rodolfo is instantly in love. But happiness is clouded: Mimì is seriously ill. Rodolfo pushes separation to allow him a life beyond poverty. Months later, the two meet again: again, the dying mimì can experience the happiness of love for a few moments.
After its creation in 1896 at the Teatro Regio of Turin, La Bohème, despite the mediocre critics of the time, is still the reference repertoire of many houses and is one of the most played operas in the world.
