Flatschach: Blitz set on fire on the couch

District of Murtal. – After a thunderstorm Saturday afternoon, July 21, 2018, a residential building in Flatschach was burned. Nobody was hurt.

Around 3:30 pm, a lightning strike hit a house and set fire to a sofa in the living room on the first floor of the house. In the fire, the building was probably badly damaged. Damage to electrical wiring and facilities also occurred in neighboring buildings. Firefighters from Flatschach and Spielberg were with 30 forces and seven vehicles in service. No humans or animals were injured during the incident.
