Football referee starts hunger strike
MEXICO.A Mexican arbitrator began a hunger strike on Tuesday to protest racial insults.
"I do not want money, I want justice done," Adalid Maganda told reporters. Already last April, the African-born referee accused the director of the Referees Committee of the Mexican Federation of Racism.
That should have insulted Maganda, after the referee asked him why he was no longer used in the games of the highest division. It ensued a dispute of several months. More recently, Maganda has been proposed to conduct subclbad matches again. This consists but on the games of the first league.
