In Eastern Europe, the life of dogs and cats is often not as idyllic as ours. Thousands of stray cats and dogs are activating in the streets and becoming plagues, especially because they are inexorably multiplying.

Thomas Putzgruber of the Animal Protection Association RespekTiere spent ten days in the summer with his team in Serbia, where he performed hundreds of castrations. And then it continued in Bulgaria. "In the small town of Breznik, about 50 km from Sofia, we organized the eighth castration project," says Bergheimer.
