In order to support those in mourning, Bestattung Wien has now developed a "Funeral Configurator". Thanks to the "Funeral Configurator", which will be available from Thursday on the website www.bestattungwien.at, Viennese can now organize their own funeral. It works in a modular way, customers can choose in principle five formulas: clbadic, close to nature, exclusive, individual and price conscious. Then you click on the different areas of detail such as the coffin model, floral arrangements, music or additional services such as the photographer, the inscription on a grave or special memories, such as the deceased's fingerprints in white gold.

Depending on the package, the system makes a suggestion by category. However, if you are not happy with the preselection, you can also choose from different models of coffins or bouquets. At each step, the resulting price is displayed at the same time. Jürgen Sild, funeral director, stressed cost transparency is a major concern: "We have no hidden discount." The tool can of course be used not only in acute cases, but also for its own future, in order to leave to friends and relatives a kind of guide with their own desires for the final trip in case of emergency .
In any case, the completed schedule can be sent by mail as well as at the funeral. But you can not continue ordering or ordering funerals online. For this, a personal appointment at the funeral is still necessary, because "there are things at funerals that the configurator can not cover," said Sild. Thus, the total funeral price also depends on where the person died or where the burial ground is buried. And it must be considered, for example, that a metal coffin is mandatory, for example in a grave.
