Matt Dillon: "I understand when people are horrified"

Is the valiant value of the terrible things on the web really worth it? Lars von Trier's metaphysical-philosophical self-discovery film "The House Built by Jack" will be released on Friday. It's a serial killer named Jack (played by Matt Dillon) and the audience is stunned by the question of endurance: already at the premiere in Cannes, many have fled the cinema, after the seventh detailed murder, verbose reflections on music, murder and architecture. "I almost refused the role," says lead actor Matt Dillon, explaining why he was able to play Jack.
