Software problem
Due to poorly programmed control software, soot deposits could eventually fall short of engine, Mazda said in its European headquarters at German Leverkusen. Callback numbers in Germany were not available. For the moment also, there were no figures for Austria.

Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5
These are Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5 models with a 2.2 liter diesel engine. The cars concerned were manufactured according to the information provided between February 2012 and July 2018. In the workshops, the software must be checked – in case of error, the door of entry is replaced. Previously, the portal "kfz-betrieb.vogel.de" mentioned the recall.
