About 50 kilometers south of the French capital, France's best-known prisoner managed to escape from the Réau detention center – by helicopter. Three armed accomplices allegedly helped the 46-year-old man, Faid Faid, to escape, police said. The search is already in progress. The man was convicted of an armed robbery in April.
