A 41-year-old woman from Gmunden District drove her car on the B120 from Laakirchen to Gmunden on Sunday around 11:25. In Ohlsdorf, she came from an unknown cause in the opposite direction and was bumped into the oncoming car, driven by a 48-year-old man from the Gmunden district as well.

The 72-year-old driver's mother, sitting in the pbadenger seat, was fatally injured in the collision. She died at the scene of the accident. The 48-year-old brother, 49, seated in the back seat, and the two drivers were sometimes seriously injured.
The wounded were transported to nearby hospitals with the Martin 3 emergency ambulance and several rescue vehicles.
