Vienna (APA) – The abolition of negative tax for low income "will not come". Spokespersons for Finance Minister Hartwig Löger (ÖVP) and State Secretary Hubert Fuchs (FPÖ) made it clear in a joint statement to the APA on Friday night.
They corrected a statement by Fuchs in the "Wiener Zeitung". The secretary of state had said that the negative tax on the low defendants would be abolished if the reduction in social security contributions announced by the government came into force from next year.
