Thanks to Sabine Reithmeier, St. Konrad has found a local supplier

Christmas falls in St. Konrad this year on December 14th. On this day, the 1,200 inhabitants of the small community recover their local suppliers and do not have to go to other communities to do their shopping.
In July, Andreas Bammer, the operator of the local branch of Spar, threw the sponge "for economic reasons". His family had been running the business since 1921 and he himself had been a train driver for two years.
Mayor Herbert Schönberger (Vice-President) invited commercial companies to Kirchham. Pfeiffer Wholesale GmbH (Nah & Frisch) finally agreed to take over the premises. Also because the group is the ideal operator with Sabine Reithmeier. Two years ago, the 29 – year – old freelance businesswoman made local sourcing in Kirchham, with Nah & Frisch also as a partner. She is now opening a second site in her hometown, St. Konrad. "For me, it is therefore a matter of heart," she says and is already looking forward to the positive reactions of the people. "People are happy to be able to redeem everything in the city," said Reithmeier.
As in Kirchham, the trader will also be based in St. Konrad for a possible regional offer. "I work closely with local bakers and butchers," she says. In addition, their business will again be a postal partner, as well as a collection point for tobaccos and lotteries.
Andreas and Elisabeth Bammer are delighted that the young entrepreneur is continuing the tradition of her business. "The closure was not easy," says Bammer. "In addition, we are happy if the company is not empty." Mayor Schoenberger hopes that the population buys more in the village and thus rewards Reithmeier's entrepreneurial courage. Incidentally, the latter is always looking for employees for their new company.
On December 14, there will be an opening night in the small supermarket of St. Konrad. With deli products from the region.
