Vienna. The new director of SPÖ, Pamela Rendi-Wagner, faces another incident at the executive level of the SPÖ. This time, it is his closest confidante, the director general of the Federal SPO, Thomas Drozda. The head of SPÖ finally wanted to take the lead as an opposition leader.
In his interview with AUSTRIA, Rendi stressed the following points: the status, which has been lightened at the request of the mayor of Vienna, Michael, remains in a lighter version. In other words, a coalition pact will be submitted to SPÖ members so that they can vote. And: senior officials only require a two-thirds majority if they are on a federal list. The Jusos and the SPÖ Styrians wanted to go back to the original model – this would not happen, according to Rendi. A word of power, then.
