Total blockage of the A1 after a truck accident near Haag
HAAG. An accident involving two trucks occurred Monday morning on the west highway (A1) towards Vienna just after the border with Lower Austria. A handlebar was seriously injured.

A semi-trailer could have pbaded over another, which was evidently on the perforation band. A driver was stuck in the heavily damaged cab. He was released by firefighters from St. Valentin and The Hague and was rushed to hospital by helicopter emergency.
In the area of the accident site, the Westautobahn had to be temporarily closed completely, the vehicles were derived to St. Valentin. A traffic jam of one kilometer long was the result.
