The UN Security Council strongly condemned the suicide bombing in Pakistan with at least 140 deaths. The badbadination attempt of yesterday in a campaign in the south of the country was a "despicable and cowardly act," said today in New York a spokesman for the Security Council composed of 15 member countries.

200 other people were injured. Just hours after the attack, the Islamic State terrorist militia (EI) and the Ghazi group of radical Islamic Taliban had claimed the act for themselves.

Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) was also "shocked" by the attack. It's the deadliest terrorist attack since 2014, writes Kurz on Twitter. He spoke of a "vicious attack" against the democratic process, which shows "that we must not give up our fight against IS / Daesh".
