Vienna – The city of Vienna awards an annual prize for outstanding and innovative achievements in the field of visual and media arts. The latter, worthy of the artistic work of media artists, went this year to Herwig Weiser. Weiser works among other things with electronics, computer hardware, software or even chemical substances and uses a wide variety of media. It has a universe of techno-visual media art installations constantly expanding, as well as movies exploring the relationship between man and technology.
