Waldhausl: "I will not resign"

It was one of the last official acts of the former Landesrat Maurice Androsch (SPÖ), which is currently being discussed well beyond the borders: the letter of information on the manholes and the petitioner Gottfried Waldhäusl (FPÖ) meat. While Androsch argues vehemently, Waldhäusl emphasizes that he is only implementing what his predecessor began.

Waldhäusl in an interview with AUSTRIA

AUSTRIA: Fears come true?

Waldhäusl: The law states that slaughter must be controlled according to the needs and membership of the religious community. I have checked the decree of my predecessor SPÖ. It will not work without registration

AUSTRIA: What do you say about the return of the provincial governor?

Waldhäusl: I am interested in the welfare of animals. I do it with common sense and I want to repel the trees

AUSTRIA: What would you compromise?

Waldhäusl: I will examine how the legal situation can be put into practice. All that is legally possible to introduce stricter rules, I will also apply

AUSTRIA: Resignation announcements have been made, you resign?

Waldhäusl: I work day and night for our fellow countrymen and make a policy with common sense. I am in the word of the voter and in no other!
