FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – A baby was born aboard a JetBlue aircraft named "Born to be Blue" during a flight to Fort Lauderdale.
In a statement, JetBlue said the medical staff had met the 1954 flight from San Juan (Puerto Rico) to Fort Lauderdale, after delivery aboard our youngest client to date.
"We wish to thank the crew and the health professionals on board for their quick action under the pressure, and wish the new mother and new son good luck." The 1954 flight was operated aboard the ship. N523JB, dubbed "Born To Be Blue" Jennifer Dang, head of corporate communications at JetBlue, told WTVJ in a statement on Saturday.
The video on board the aircraft obtained by NBC 6 shows in part the medical staff treating the woman as if a lively conversation was taking place inside the plane.
JetBlue on Twitter said that he wanted to rename "Born to Be Blue" after the kid.
