Bad Bunny joined host Rege-Jean Page on the Saturday Night Live as a musical guest of this weekend where he performed his sensual hit “La Noche De Anoche” with Rosalia, as well as another song from his last album The last round of the World. The latter broke a record, which earned him the first fully-Spanish studio LP to feature in the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Fans of the artist were excited about SNL’s appearance, especially after Rosalia’s appearance was teased. The performance itself did not disappoint and some even pointed out the chemistry between the two performers.

Ahead of the performance, Bad Bunny’s name also inspired a few laughs as host and Melissa Villaseñor of the SNL brainstorm similar nicknames in a new promo. “I think I’ll go through ‘Bad Melissa’ now,” said Villaseñor, a SNL cast member known for his prints. “Cool, I’m going to go through ‘Regé-Jean Bunny”, quips Page in response. “Bad Bunny is already cool, so I’m going to keep it,” said the Reggaeton star.

Ultimately, fans were very happy with Bad Bunny’s SNL presence. Many did not hesitate to say that they did not understand the lyrics, but they were still fascinated by the performance. It’s safe to say that his success at this point is no surprise.

This year, the artist is nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best duo / group pop performance for “Un Dia” and Best Latin or urban pop album for YHLQMDLG.
