Barcelona Coach Ronald Koeman declined to answer questions from the media on Wednesday as uncertainty surrounding his future at Camp Nou grows.
ESPN reported on Tuesday that Barca have already started looking for alternatives after Monday’s 1-1 draw with Grenade in La Liga, after the 3-0 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week.

Koeman, 58, was due to speak at a press conference on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s trip to Cadiz in the league. However, he read a short statement before saying he would not answer questions from the gathered media.
He asked club supporters for patience and said it would be a successful season if Barca could finish high in La Liga.
“The club and the manager are leading a rebuilding process,” he said. “The financial situation of the club is linked to sporting issues and vice versa. It means that we have to rebuild the football team, without making big investments. It takes time.
“The young talents that we have can be new world stars in a few years. The good thing about rebuilding the squad is that young players will have chances, like Xavi and [Andres] Iniesta did it in his day. But we ask for patience.
“To finish high in the league would be a success. European football is a good school for these young players, but miracles cannot be expected in the Champions League. The loss to Bayern Munich must be seen from that angle.
“The process we are in means that the team deserves full support. In word and deed, support the process we are leading. I know the press recognizes this process.
“This is not the first time in club history that this has happened. We are counting on your support in these difficult teams. As a team we are happy for the fan support we had during the game. at home against Granada. “
