Several classic MTV and VH1 shows are restarting for digital streaming service Paramount +, ViacomCBS announced on Wednesday.

On the music front, the VH1 and MTV franchises Behind the music, Yo! MTV Raps and Disconnected will get an update on the platform. A new unscripted series, From the cradle to the stage, is also planned for the digital service. Based on the book written by Virginia Hanlon Grohl, mother of Dave Grohl, From the cradle to the stage: stories of mothers who rocked and raised rock stars, the six-part series will be co-hosted by the mother and son team, with the Foo Fighters frontman also serving as a director.

The rebirth of Yo! MTV Raps, which originally ran on MTV from 1988 to 1995, will feature a format similar to the original, with hosted segments, live performances, and cyphers. The redesign of the musical documentary series Behind the music, originally broadcast on VH1 from 1997 to 2014, will have a new look visually. MTV Unplugged, which first hit the network in 1989, has aired sporadically in recent years, with specials and deals online. New Disconnected will also feature performances that will be broadcast as a special several times a year.

In the realm of reality TV, Paramount + will air both returning franchises and new series.
