Samsung's folding smartphone, which has been talked about for years, is developing in detail. In addition to the main chip – a flexible display – the device will also receive a battery bending. This is reported by foreign sources of resources.
A few years ago, Samsung SDI introduced a 210 mAh battery that could bend. But this battery capacity is not enough for a smartphone. Now, the company has approached the creation of flexible batteries for 3000 mAh and more – up to 6000 mAh. This will place the batteries in both halves of the smartphone, which will give greater autonomy.
It is also badumed that the smartphone under the Galaxy X symbol will receive a flexible OLED matrix. Its release should begin already during the summer. The device is expected to premiere this year or next year.
