The population of Belarus remains the net seller of currency for the twenty-ninth month, however the interest in foreign exchange trading among the Belarusians decreased in June. According to the documents of the National Bank for the month, the net sale of currency in cash decreased by 26.1% to 173.9 million dollars.
At the same time, the sale and purchase of cash currency has declined. Citizens surrendered 9.2% less currency than in May – $ 644.8 million, and bought – by 0.9% less, $ 471.3 million.

Business entities in the first half were net buyers of foreign currency (the volume of purchase exceeded sales by $ 478.6 million).
