On the evening of July 8, a bus with Belarusian schoolchildren traveling to Bulgaria capsized in Romania. Then everything went relatively well, at least the parents do not report any serious injury to their children. They publish images affirming life and write, while the driver "gently puts the bus". In the meantime, it turns out that the story is not over. Now the parents had "incomprehensible" relationships with the company that was sending the children to rest.
Escaped easily
The bus capsized in a ditch 20 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Inside there were 43 schoolchildren and 7 adults, mainly from the Gomel region. 18 people were taken to the hospital for examination, but there were no serious injuries.
The children were housed in a local hotel, fed and sent the next day to Bulgaria by another bus
. The time that has been spent in Romania because of the accident, promised to compensate – stay in Bulgaria will extend for one day. Is the problem solved? School parents say that everything is not so simple.
"The children are afraid to come back by bus"
Natalia's daughter from Zhlobin boarded the bus. In general, an accident to one of the parents wrote in the Romanian foreign messenger, who was close. So they learned about everything.
– Today, around 14:30, they arrived at Sunny Beach, and there they continued, Natalia tells . – Two hours of waiting for the settlement, watched the others swim in the pool. Just at 17:05, they wrote that they had moved in … Okay, okay, they managed to pull it out, but now that's right. is another problem: n I have to go back there one way or another. And many children say that they are afraid to go by bus. Yes, we do not want it … There is a variant with the railway. We turned to the company "Ecotourist", which was paid for sending our children. But they specified that if the bus in the contract means a bus and a point. If we want the train – our business, we can buy tickets at our expense.
The problem is that the train does not go every day, which means that the children will have to either lose two days or stay in Bulgaria for two more days – also at their own expense.
In general, according to Natalia, in addition to the extra days, the company offered no compensation for what the children or parents had experienced.
– They only said that they would calculate how much we would have to pay to get the kids off the train. According to our estimates, given the transfer to the station and other costs, it is still around 200 euros.
Ecotourist: we have already done so much at our expense
To understand what is happening, we called the ecotourist enterprise. The question of compensation for damages is not included here:
– What are you talking about? Who should what? We are not talking about compensation. We have already done a lot at our expense. The people in the hotel are resting a long time.
They will be there the number of nights indicated in the contract. Back, they will go the same way as there – in the bus. If the contract is concluded on a bus, then it's a bus ride. Of course, all changes to the contract are only possible at an additional cost.
